yeap pretty irrelevant since the ARM tablet life is about as likely to last than the blu ray one..... those tech are both fillers until the heavy artillery comes in...... I have yet to find a good argument beside low cost to buy an ARM tablet those are just phones with big screens..... with really beefy PC tablets running win 8 coming out and really great intel CPU to compete with ARMs running also a full win 8 buying a tablet is about as relevant than buying a mini disc player was back in the days.....
I have had a series 7 slate for more than a year now running win 8 for about as long and now with the official release.... got a lumia 920 as a phone.... and I wonder why I would need a tablet..... my next move will be an i7 cpu tablet.... but certainly not a dumb tablet..... and more and more people will do that math with time....
and when it comes down to OSs.... excuse me but OSX is not touch ready, iOS is a dinosaur that needs a serious makeover whether you're a fan or not it's an aging UI, and android is a messy un unified OS between devices like everything open ever is.....
and saying that MS is trying to mainly get into the phone market is a plain BS argument..... it's probably the last market they are interested in..... their core is "business solution" from server to work station, second it's entertainment through the XB and other brands they own... heck bing search and outlook.com and skydrive are probably higher on their list than smartphone..... cause at the end of the day the device is not where the money is.... but on what you consume behind..... it's like in the 90's when MS was making more money by Mac sold than apple was making themselves.....
so yeah MS is everything but doomed my kids and probably my grand kids will know MS as the number one OS worldwide still.... cause there is simply nothing serious to compete with it.... not yet and not for a while....
