I don't see how this is good news unless you area MSFT fan or investor....the majority of people use google and that is a fact. So in the end this is a loss for consumers.

(I'm assuming Google+ is the reason the decided to go with Bing?)

Please explain how?, i also use google but this wont effect me in anyway as google is just a search engine for me at the end of the day.

If google falls i will use whatever the next search engine is, no effect on me once so ever, unless your invested in google somehow??.

Google is most peoples search engine of choice. Being forced to use Bing through Facebook isn't a good thing if you are used to Google and if you think it yields better search results. It's just a choice of preference, something Facebook should give its users. Let them use whichever search engine they want.

This isnt some Bing powered search bar on Facebook...understand what this does before you start crying foul how you cant use google. A lot of cutom work went in to this. Also go read the stories on engadget about this and you will see that facebook would love to work with google but they are not too cooperative. Microsoft was more willing to work with facebook on this project. The End.

Pretty much what i was going to say.

VGKing makes it sound like he is going to be using facebook to do his internet searches..

Like i said unless his invested in google somehow i dont see why he finds anything wrong with this but he seems to think this is only good for MSfans or Ms investers (Both true in a sense). But unless he is a google invester this shouldnt effect him in anyway.

Why do i have a feeling he wouldnt be complaining if this was Sony who got this deal :-/

Because you're right that he wouldn't complain if it was a pro Sony article.
