Don't stop searching for your beloved Vita, I have one since launch and the software has pretty much improved with a lot of nice features and apps. And there are a lot of good games available. Or wait until february after the Playstation event which will be mainly about the Vita. I think they'll announce a few new good games and perhaps a lower price.
