I choose to play games on my 360 over ps3, so multiplayer wise I choose this as my console

but recently I have been trying to build up my ps3 collection more and I have to say, I haven't completed a number of games for the console nor do i care to go back to finish them....where as on 360 I completely finish them and try to get all the achievements also.

I dont understand why....perhaps it's the achievements? Anyone else have a similar problem

I hope I'm reading this right.

But you say for an example you have "GAME A" on both systems. You got "GAME A" on the Xbox360 and finished it and later on you bought "GAME A" again on the PS3?

If that is the case - When you tend to play a game of the same genre or in the same series you tend to get "burnt out" or at least that is my experience, now if its the same exact game - the chances of getting burnt out are higher and the fact that you would get bored quickly since you finished the game recently.

Now if you waited 2-3 years after finishing the game on one system and replay it again on another system it might not affect you so much. That is what I did with the Kingdom Hearts series. I managed to play the first 3 games at least 3 times ever since their release because of a span of few years across each playthrough. I am planning to play it again sometime soon maybe this year or next year.

I dont think Trophies/Achievements are the issue that is unless your goal was to collect all the Trophies/Achievements.

No I don't buy double of the same game for each console, it's just games in general for ps3

the only ones I actually finished and actually tried getting trophies and replayed was uncharted 2 and ratchet n clank,

the rest I haven't finished with, which is a damn shame
