i expect the same of sony with a notable release or 2 post ps4 launch this holiday. not so sure about MS, they did a really clean cut over xbox but i think there was other reasons for that. if MS was smart they would support the 360 at least through this holiday, imo.

They are copying Sonys ten year plan. They aren't repeating their cut of the Xbox.

it remains to be seen what MS's console transition strategy is as nothing has been announced yet.  until they do, we don't know what MS will do.  all i'm certain of is the awkward position nvida put the origina xbox in won't be a problem this time.
