damage control? lol. I could really care less about it.
I'm just thinking about it from a strategic sense. How would I approach hardware if I ran valve.
What doesn't make sense would be competing with the home consoles. What does make sense is competing with PCs. And yes, I don't expect it to be super successful, but it will have its own market, definitely.
