No users actions on another site should allow the mod team here to take action and ban that user as long as that user has not done any of the said actions on this site.
Simple as its not up to the Mod team here to do the Job of other Mod teams.
If gamespots mods or whatever site spurge was on didnt ban him from their site the mod team here at no right to ban him Simple as.
VGChartz mods only need to mod this site not others and they also should not be allowed to ban a user from this site cos of his actions on another..
Imo going by what spurge is saying he should be giving an apology from whoever the mod is that banned him and that mod should be put under the spot light for going out of his way and doing such a thing..

It wasn't i who did this alone. Someone's always in the mod chat for us to talk to, and many of us spoke over that day about what should be done. I ended up being the one who acted, but it could just as easily have been any of us, as almost all of us were in agreement.

Your just the fall guy tell the truth .

But honest Khan you mods need to re think your policys if ye feel that ye need to ban users cos of the actions on another site.

I admit i dont know the whole story, but its not a good sign when mods are banning users from their actions on another site from ages ago, not good at all imo.

Read Trasharm's thoughts on the matter. We're only doing this if 1): We can be sure of the culprits and 2): They are directly attacking a user on this site. Our scope as "internet police" only extend to matters which impact our jurisdiction. Like if an American went to Belgium to mail death threats to another American, it would fall not only under Belgian police jurisdiction, but American as well.
