AMD FX 8350 VS Intel Ivy Bridge K series for gaming - interesting perspective

Great analysis.

I've never understood the constant bashing AMD gets for their CPU's. Sure they are behind* versus Intel, but that doesn't make them worthless as some seem to think. Their APUs are fantastic for the average PC and for casual gaming, and the FX CPUs are great too. (I'd prefer an APU vs. an Intel CPU with Intel HD graphics)

If only they can get their R&D together and stay on track with Steamroller and Excavator.

I plan on building my next PC next year. I'm still undecided with who I'm going with for the CPU. Although, I am leaning more toward an APU or Steamroller FX.
