The Galaxy games and DKCR were excellent, but really, besides those, I didn't LOVE anything on the Wii. 

I must disagree with almost everything you said... Both TP and SS were epic and GREAT games, both in their own right. NSMBwii were awesome; I've never had more fun playing a 2D Mario since I enjoyed it immensely with my GF, and both Galaxy games are about the best platformers I've played... Mario Kart was also such a fun and awesome title!!

In short, the Wii was a great and a really fun console. Definitely one of the best there ever was, and much is thanks due to the controls!
