I like how in most WRPG's i can customize my avatar, explore to world, make decisions however and whenever i want. But the boring story, the easilly forgotton NPC's and dull combat are the biggest letdown to me.
Most JRPG's handle the storytelling and bond with the characters allot better and the strategic combat just nails it even if it gets repetitive at times. But JRPG's have become very clichéd and the many restrictions get really annoying sometimes.
I like both, both have pros and cons.
WRPG 's are great but i prefer JRPG's.
