PS3 Outsells 360 Every Year except '06 & '08

2005 -PS3 didn't exist. 2006-2012.  360 falls behind though.

The current generation started when the first console was released which happened in 2005. The Wii had no problems overtaking the 360, despite releasing later.

Just like the latest generation of consoles started now with the Wii U and it will be continuing when the new Xbox and PS4 are released.

 

 I can apply the same kind of logic, how can a new gen start officially when the old gen is still going? Ps2 was only just now discontinued, this gen truly starts now. As logically sound as what you’re saying.
