I have yet to be able to connect online without seeing the connection error messages a bazillion times. But after a half hour of attempts and finally getting online its great. The servers are mostly dead at this point though, hardly anyone plays it unfortunately :(

that sucks, im really want to play a good online game. im bored of what i have, i didnt really like AC3's online. and im waiting till tomb raider/GoW to buy something. then i remembered that twisted metal has online and i can get my hands on it. what times do u play? its mostly sold in USA so if you play at a time when people are at work there then the serves will probably be mostly empty

I havent played in quite a while mostly due to it being quite a struggle to connect to other games and my PS3 just recently (an hour ago) got the YLOD again for the second time :( When I did try i went during prime hours, usually 5PM to 8PM and I only saw at max 8 to 10 games up. At the games  launch there were far more people playing. Still... I gotta say the game is fantastic, the multiplayer was just poorly coded and even after all the updates it has a hard time connecting to others.

geez that sucks about the YLOD, is it the same ps3? maybe ill give it a shot, hopefully they fixed things by now

Yeah same PS3, sent it in to Sony for a repair (cost $150) and broke again with YLOD in less than a year :/

my ps3 broke down with a problem with the drive and lens (my fault that it broke down actually)  i just opted to buy a new one, once something breaks, its probably going to break again. are you gonna buy another one? some big games are coming out

I would like to, but I recently returned to college and changed into a new program and its costing me tons of money (already spent over $600 in books and supplies alone)... not sure I can afford a new PS3 for a while :( I'm planning on holding off for a while, I'm mostly a 360 gamer as it is.
