2006: Yuta Sakurai, an analyst at Nomura Holdings, Inc. has a gloomy outlook on Sony's hardware future. The appointment of Hirai could be the start of a shift from hardware to software. I cannot now imagine a PlayStation 4. RIP PlayStation 4?
______ Yeah, good times

Is that why you've been posting so many Wii U is doomed threads lately? Because this man left you butthurt?
Imagine every Nintendo fanboy getting butthurt over Pachter and his nonsense predictions. It makes no sense. Hell, I remember a lot of people saying the Wii would be Nintendo's last console because it wasn't as powerful as the 360/PS3. I even remember a lot of people agreeing the PSP would end Nintendo altogether as the handheld market was the only thing keeping Nintendo afloat.
The DS? That was just an underpowered handheld with a gimmick. There's no way Nintendo can compete against the PSP with that thing...
And don't even get me started on the PSVita vs. 3DS.
Good times indeed.
