It's interesting that general comments on multi-platform sites, are gradually changing towards positivity for Vita as in with new game announcements, like for Velocity ULTRA, ooh I'll have to get this when I get a Vita/Vita is looking better by the day etc.
I think Vita will be okay, it's slowly winning over "gamers" who are the bread and butter of any format. It might never hit the big time, but that's okay so long as it can sell enough software to keep development viable. A few retail games appear to have sold better than their 3DS counterparts, and like Just Add Water said, Vita week 1 sales were superior to the PS3 week 1 for Strangers Wrath.
