and thats just sad. i really miss games that arent about killing people. dont get me wrong, i love shooters and more adult oriented games. but heck when i look at sly cooper now its just different. the worlds are different, the gameplay is different. and we NEED that as an indusrty. and the only two who seem to be pushing and trying to do these types of games are nintendo and Sony. 3rd parties like EA and activision just keep making shooters, what a sad place we are in

Sly Cooper never sold well in the first place.  Just another niche title.

1 Sly 2: Band of Thieves PS2 2004 Platform Sony Computer Entertainment 0.88 0.69 0.00 0.23 1.81
2 Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus PS2 2002 Platform Sony Computer Entertainment 1.03 0.14 0.00 0.04 1.21
3 The Sly Collection PS3 2010 Platform Sony Computer Entertainment 0.34 0.08 0.01 0.06 0.48

sly was just an example. but its not about sales alone, its about the number of games released like this. also crash, banjoo kazooi, ratchet and clank, spyro all used to sell very well. im just pointing out that these types of games are being released much now days

Ratchet and Clank is on a similar trend as PS2's Ratchet and Clank.  The ones that dont sell are the ones that are knock offs and bad.  Crack in Time has sold more than 2m.  Banjo Nuts & Bolts was bad, Spyro has been bad, and Crash sucks now.  That is why they dont sell well is because they are simply bad games.  I can bring up more examples of games that are E rated that has done well than games that hasnt that use to and once again that is because they are no longer good.
