Grow up, I just didn't agree with this issue being compared with the problems 360s are experiencing.

DVD issues on the 360 issues are far more common than PS3 hardware issues in general. Personally I only had to deal with Sony customer care once, my PAL TV was years beyond warranty and showed a dead line of pixels, they fixed the problem free of charge.

Mike,

I don't think he needs your permission to express his perception of his various consoles' reliability when compared one to another.  As I stated in my original message (which you conveniently failed to quote), the PS3's reliability doesn't appear to be anywhere near as low as the 360's, even considering what now appears to be a more-often-than-acceptable Blu-ray drive motor issue.

The guy is obviously very frustrated that Sony won't acknowledge that they have an issue with those motors, and I think he has a right to vent his frustration that he can't even reach a human to try and resolve it.

When you jump in and tell some of the other posters in other threads to stop claiming that the RROD on the 360 is 100%, even with the new Falcon motherboards, then I'll consider you the Champion of Truth Regarding Consoles.  If all you do is defend the reliability of your favorite console--particularly when it involves someone who just experienced a very disappointing failure of his console--then you're just being a fanboy, not a voice of reason.
