Are you talking about the system's own digital copies or older system games like the PS2 games?

One example I'll give is day 1 digital deals the PS Store has. Why is a digital version of a game 60$ when you get no disc, no case, no manual which effectively remove the production costs of the game and then you also don't have to ship the console to retailers which further reduces the price. I don't understand this.
