Japanese market for home consoles is "dead" and will be even worse next gen.
3DS is king there, dont even try to compete, Wii U will smash any Ps4/720 numbers on Japan.
Japan is to Nintendo what Americas is to MS right now.
The only thing that sells like hotcakes in Japan is 3DS, i have yet to buy 3DS, im waiting for Zelda and New Pokemon.
