Not to mention that the vita is now going against both Monster Hunters and Pokemon this year. A price cut will help but it needs better games before most people will buy it. Yes it has games but nothing that will sell it and we all know its true

You forgot Dragon Quest 7....... God.... :->

Oh yeah, i did forget about that.  People want to act like it's the price of the Vita and that is why its not selling well their is many more reasons.  The price hurts but its not the only thing.  The PSP hurt them profoundly with the lack good software.  It sold well at the beginning because it was the first powerful handheld and people trusted playstation at the time.  Now that Vita has lost its godchild or demigod with Monster Hunters it needs a new IP that can truly sell it.  Console like games are not enough.

Honestly, its the combination of unit/bundle price, lack of advertisment (there are some people who still dont know the system exists), Sony's downfall from their top spot from this generation, the fact that the Vita's PSP PSN collection is incomplete and lacks many major titles such as Kingdom Hearts BBS, and the horrendous price of the memory cards.

For me though the main factor is the memory cards, I refuse to buy a Vita unless I can afford the 32 gb memory card as I will be focusing on digital gaming more in the future.

Memory Card ties in with price problems.  So you blame it on Advertising?  The same complaint happens with PS3 games and i dont see it.  Plenty of games get a lot of advertisements for PS3 but they dont sell extremely well because they are not what a a big margin of people wants in a game. Uncharted was their big title this gen but games like Heavy Rain, InFamous, and Heavenly Sword are just titles that are good.  They will never have the same main stream effect as Halo, Mario, Gears, Call of Duty, Uncharted, etc.

I've also seen plenty of Vita adertisements.  Especially with Liberation and Unit 13 when it first came out.  Once again it comes down to these games do not have a mainstream effect.  While Liberation is branched from a game that is mainstream people look at it as a game they dont need because they can just go out and buy Assassin's Creed 3 which came out in the same time frame.  On top of that Playstation's portable market has lost trust with the hardcore market that does pay attention to niche title games like Heavy Rain, etc

Vita is an awesome piece of technology but people are not looking for a console to be the most powerful.  people want to have the most fun which you can look else where in that case.  For a site that is based around sells I see a lot of people on here that are very misinformed about a lot of things.(not talking about you)
