2013 looks to be a really exciting year, and I'm far from done with the games I bought in 2012. Still haven't even started a couple. Our 3 year old loves the WiiU. Playing Mario together is great, he gets the game pad screwing us up with random platforms everywhere. He's laughing at us trying to get through his obstacle course, great fun.

Console gaming is cheaper then ever. Get PS+ and you already have plenty to play each month. PSN and XBL both have great selections of affordable games. The 2nd hand market is booming, there's lots of platinum and goty discounted editions around by now, and if you don't think you're going to play that brand new $60 game anymore you can always trade it in for half price or more within the first month. I can't play new releases on Steam for $17. That's what I ended up paying for the console version of AC3.
