Will PABSR fail in Japan?

Believe me Japan is the land of fighting games. Like 90% of the fighting games ever produced is in Japan and people over there love to play them highly competitively. So if PSABR has good mechanics to be played competitively, it might have some legs over. I personally don't know, so someone who has played the game could comment on its mechanics. I'm hoping its not a carbon copy of SSBB.

Look up some sales for fighting games in Japan.  What they have is a very passionate fighting game community, but not a very large one.
