Just two different situations really. On the one hand you have the legit sequel to one of the best action games to come out this generation. On the other you have a "kinda" spiritual successor to a meh action game that really wasn't all that impressive. So yeah, not that surprising of an outcome.

Pretty much. Even if it was the true sequel to MadWorld you wouldn't see the internet blow up like it did over Bayonetta 2. MadWorld just ain't comparable to Bayonetta.
