I think that there is a problem with target markets that companies tend to provide games to. And I think there is just too much gaming. You can't expect to grow year after year when a lot of people also have the possibility to game on their phones casually. And publishers apparantly have a strong need to deliver console games to them resulting in easy, bad, rushed games that are not fun at all. I also think that those companies don't even know why a game can be succesfull or not. Now sales are in a decline but when PS4 and the new Xbox arrive it could grow again.

Some points of interest in the gaming industry:

- there must be a clear line of what kind of game a company will be releasing (identity)
- It shouldn' be rushed at all, no annoying launch bugs for exemple (quality)
- No major focus on DLC. Better use DLC as fun extra's or good expansions (BFBC2: Vietnam was good the 12 euros I paid for, BF3 B2K should have been cheaper around 8 euros instead of 15) worth the money and launch the game with enough content. (Quantity)
