Plus the walls are dark in that room on purpose, to limit ambient light washing out darker details on the screen. If you're going to spend money on a projector, wouldn't you want to use it for a big screen experience in the first place? |
I have the same feeling although given the output doesn't have to exactly be sharp for this type of usage you could in theory have a very cheap projector for this application rather than our high quality home theater projectors. In that case it might only be good enough to hence a good TV experience. Its not for me in its current guise but its technically brilliant.
