is it impossible to get high metascores so late in this gen?

New Ip's will be the ones that get higher scores. Ni no Kuni, Last of Us, Beyond all has good chances of doing so. Games like Gears Judgement and God of War Ascension will likely score in the 80s. maybe so, but do you think if that dishonored released in 2009 it wouldnt have gotten a 95+ meta?

If dishonored would have released in 2010 exactly the same as now it would have gotten the same score.  If dishonered 2 came in 2012 then the second would have recieved a lower score.

Games like Blackops 2 and Halo 4 are the ones that would be scoring 90+ if they released a few years ago before their younger brothers.
