Its too early for price cuts imo! Furthermore, 3DS is on a roll to have its best year in 2013. Why cut the price when you are guaranteed to have your best year? Also, Iwata needs to sell the 3DS at current price for profit margins as Wii U will be selling at a loss.
P.S. Even though I got an XL, if they do a 3DS bundle with Pokemanz. Ima buy :)
