In my opinion, holiday 2013 is an AWESOME year for the PlayStation 4 to launch.
1. With the Xbox 720 (or whatever it's called) manufacturing delays, the PS4 could be first on the market, so developers would make their new games based on the PS4's hardware, so the X720 will get a taste of what the PS3 had to deal with (inferior ports, late DLC, criticisim, etc.).
Anyway, here are my predictions for the PS4:
Emulator for PS3 games, but you don't have to buy the license for the game again. You'll receive a game code via the PSN that lets you access your PS3 games on the PS4 to download from the PS4 PlayStation Store.
New Killzone, MotorStorm, and Infamous games available as PS4 launch games.
SOE (Sony's PC game devs) ports all of its free to play games to the PS4 and its pay to play selection.
PS4 lauches for $399 for the 750 GB model and $449 for the 1250 GB model.
First-party games for the PS4 uses Sony's new custom Blu-ray discs that can hold 100 GB of game data.
A new GUI (user interface) for the PS4 allows voice chat via the PS Move, and allows users to purchase and view content in-game.
Sony secures exclusive content from Ubisoft, EA Sports, and Rockstar.
A new PS controller is made, which is similar to the Xbox 360 controller, but has a back touchpad, microphone, and has a speaker built-in.
Allows users to stream games via Games Unlimited (Gaikai name is dropped and turned into Games Unlimited) for a low price of $29.99 a month
Totally new PS Store interface and allows PC users to download PS4 games from any computer and transport it through a BD-RW disc.
4K support for video and games and can upscale content from 1080p.
PS4 runs at 852.3GHz (My guess if PS4 is 3x more powerful than the PS3).
Sony allows Linux and OpenGL.
Cross game video chat.
PS4 sells 88M by 2020
