"But why would fans of games like "Uncharted", "The Last of Us", and "Beyond: Two Souls" be interested in buying a $400.00 console that isn't really going to offer much of an improvement over what's available on PS3?"
1. Aside from Uncharted, I'm not sure if there are many fans of those games, at least not enough to drastically effect Sony's strategy.
2. Most gamers don't actually care about graphics.
3. What makes you think a $400 2013 console won't offer much of an improvement over the PS3 which is barely more powerful than a $400 2005 console ( the 360)
