Yeah I fully expect the next Xbox to be a complete media hub, possibly even providing its own form of cable television.
That being said no matter what media stuff they put into the box it wouldnt come close to tapping 8 cores on the CPU and wouldnt require the 8000 series GPU either. The main thing from the
specs that the media stuff will be pulling from is the 8 GB of RAM. I wouldnt be surprised if 4 GB is reserved for the OS and media applications while the other 4 GB is for games. And a 4GB RAM woukd be a huuuge difference for games considering the 360 doesnt even have 1 GB of of RAM useable between the OS and games
