This year Sony does have the chance it is only 1.8 million behind. Back in 2008 and 2009 PS3 was 8.2 million behind. Also since 2009 or 2010 PS3's game library of exclusives has increased more than the 360. The only thing Sony has done wrong this generation is the cell prosesor and lower ram than 360 = no party chat. But the ps3 has been selling more than the 360 in 2010, 2011, 2012 and possibly 2013.
