As far as utility goes, each successive model should be better than previous generations, which means it comes down to Wii U v. PS3 v. Xbox 360, as all are better in that regard than their predecessors. Blu-Ray is the PS3's undisputed edge over the others. Sony's free service is obviously better than Microsoft's free service, though I don't know how it stacks up against the Wii U's service. Miiverse sounds nifty. From a personal standpoint, I think Sony's paid service is better than Microsoft's paid service, though some people might like cross-game chat over free games, so that should probably be considered even.
Overall, I don't think one can be declared a clear winner.
However, -with what we know right now-, I feel safe in thinking the PS3 will be the "first half of 2013 winner"!
