Damn, that is one serious rant. I only skimmed the article, but it seems like he wants Zelda to return to the mechanics of the first three Zelda games? And he thinks there's too much fluff and puzzle-solving?
I have to stand up for Aonuma, only because I think all the games he's worked on are excellent games. Some of them are all-time greats. "Modern Zelda," as Malstrom calls it, is in many ways superior to the original three games.
