Moving to new platforms is fine and all, but having the game with you at all times is completely pointless. Why the fuck would I want a portable version of a game that is going to last between 20 and 60 minutes? And on what kind of internet connection? For the most part, people are looking for short, disposable experiences in their portable titles. Jump in, jump out, no big deal. Side note, that is also a part of the problem with Sony's vision for their portables. People don't want a portable console as much as they think. Which is why it is not, "... exactly what gamers should be clamoring for," as this guy claims. |
if you can combine a home console and make it portable at the same time i could see that being successful. Think of the WiiU. If they would have made it to where you could carry the gamepad anywhere and play it then that would of been cool. I still want to see a home console have a docking station but that is just me.
