I also kinda think the cross play feature is kinda double edged sword. On one side, it could encourage people to purchase the Vita so they can get their game on the go, however some people may feel as if they can already get superior versions on consoles.

Yeah, the Sony fans of course are going to buy the Vita and its quite possible they already have a Vita(people who like Sly, Killzone). Sony needs to breach out to people who DON'T buy Sony consoles for their exclusives, which we saw them try and do with COD and even Asssassins Creed.
