yes it is a laughing matter because you guys have had people telling of what is going to happen if you do not obey yet you chose not to believe it

btw I'm only using "laughing" because it was mentioned in the quote as he stated how the atheists would laugh at the believers

I don't think I would enter heaven if I was going to literally laugh at burning people

You think it makes a difference for god if you literally laugh or not when you think its a laughing matter. He would know what you feel anyway.

If there is a god he is nothing like any religions describe and will have all the knowledge to perfectly judge the true being of a human. You think all the people went to hell by default before the jews/christians/muslims ?

Gods will is not printed anywhere if he created existence he must be far out of reach for human understanding. Any action from god would be enough to get the desired result. So he doesn't want anything from us or we would do what he wants automatically.  If life is a test its pointless to even run this test he could put the people into hell from the start he obviously knows what will happen anyway. If god exists he would have just one reasonable goal. Do everything at once. Everything else is not a worthy task for an omnipotent being.

To OP: Stop moping around. Its a waste of time. Change yourself and your life, nothing will truly change if you don't do it yourself.

I always find it Interesting that some people who do believe a God yet do not fallow any of the religions don't do it because they think he would not communicate with his creation.

Why would God not show you the way and then let you chose if you want to fallow it or not?

If in show you the way mean bible or its cousins its just not logical. First of all what is the point in showing us the way ? To let us choose the "right" path from our free will. Lets say god decides for reasons unknown to create a book with arbitrary rules just to see who follows and who not. And he decides to punish everyone who doesn't follow for eternity.

But he hints with a book at the correct path but just doing that will result in humans being so influenced that they basically don't even decide to be good according to their own free will but because they are afraid of being punished if they don't follow the rules. So this method can't be what god bases his decision on. Religion is not the deciding factor to seperate good from evil.

Its also inconciveable that god would give out a certain information which helps to avoid unimaginable pain for eternity but only gives restricted people access to it. And others end up in hell for no reason because god never told them how to avoid hell. Thats the ultimate troll.

Its so random and stupid to do that. I mean why ? Unless people go automatically to heaven if they die before realizing christianity exists. But bad people would end up in heaven too. So ofcourse god has to sort out the people that are bad and just the good people who never heared about the bible end up in heaven but what if you follow all the criteria god sees as good but are not religious and you end up in hell while this 20 year old jungle kid died as good as you but never heared of the bible still gets into heaven while you don't.

The too obvious nature of communicating through religion the massive change of all future events that unfold thus making free will pointless, and all the paradox situations this leads to, makes religion in all cases a fundamentally flawed way to show the right path to everyone. Besides creating Billions of living beings knowing what will happen and punishing them later seems sadistic. Creating a being to torture it later for eternity is psychopathic and sick. Its like breeding cows and the ones who step on certain circles drawn on the ground of a big ranch will be cared for, the others will be tortured to the point they die and will be revived for all eternity and tortured again.

I am not ruling out god exists but what I rule out is a path to salvation written on a piece of paper. Nobody knows the truth because if god exists he HAS TO not interfere at all because its impossible to impose a will of any kind on us, without influencing everything and altering the path of the future thus taking away our free will. I am not even sure he could replace a stone without altering the future forever. He lets just play things out and sets new things in motion to allow them to exist. I just see no possible reason for god to want something from us he is god and allpowerful. What would he want anyway. Its impossible that he has desires.

Sorry I won't waist my time explaining things to everybody that disagrees. there is lots of information on the net you can either chose to research or ignore it and you will find out when you die if what you did was correct or wrong.

I have chosen my path which is Islam also I don't fear death like most non religious people do. It's all about doing as many things you can before you die and have as much fun as you can because you only live once lol. for me it's living a normal life but I obey God to my best of abilities and still have fun and do what I want in life as long as it is within the boundaries of what does not hurt me or others. I only live once and if I do not obey God I will risk burning in hell for the sake of having "fun" in my life and ignoring everything God told me in the Quran!

and with that I will leave this discussion!
