I always find it Interesting that some people who do believe a God yet do not fallow any of the religions don't do it because they think he would not communicate with his creation. |
If in show you the way mean bible or its cousins its just not logical. First of all what is the point in showing us the way ? To let us choose the "right" path from our free will. Lets say god decides for reasons unknown to create a book with arbitrary rules just to see who follows and who not. And he decides to punish everyone who doesn't follow for eternity.
But he hints with a book at the correct path but just doing that will result in humans being so influenced that they basically don't even decide to be good according to their own free will but because they are afraid of being punished if they don't follow the rules. So this method can't be what god bases his decision on. Religion is not the deciding factor to seperate good from evil.
Its also inconciveable that god would give out a certain information which helps to avoid unimaginable pain for eternity but only gives restricted people access to it. And others end up in hell for no reason because god never told them how to avoid hell. Thats the ultimate troll.
Its so random and stupid to do that. I mean why ? Unless people go automatically to heaven if they die before realizing christianity exists. But bad people would end up in heaven too. So ofcourse god has to sort out the people that are bad and just the good people who never heared about the bible end up in heaven but what if you follow all the criteria god sees as good but are not religious and you end up in hell while this 20 year old jungle kid died as good as you but never heared of the bible still gets into heaven while you don't.
The too obvious nature of communicating through religion the massive change of all future events that unfold thus making free will pointless, and all the paradox situations this leads to, makes religion in all cases a fundamentally flawed way to show the right path to everyone. Besides creating Billions of living beings knowing what will happen and punishing them later seems sadistic. Creating a being to torture it later for eternity is psychopathic and sick. Its like breeding cows and the ones who step on certain circles drawn on the ground of a big ranch will be cared for, the others will be tortured to the point they die and will be revived for all eternity and tortured again.
I am not ruling out god exists but what I rule out is a path to salvation written on a piece of paper. Nobody knows the truth because if god exists he HAS TO not interfere at all because its impossible to impose a will of any kind on us, without influencing everything and altering the path of the future thus taking away our free will. I am not even sure he could replace a stone without altering the future forever. He lets just play things out and sets new things in motion to allow them to exist. I just see no possible reason for god to want something from us he is god and allpowerful. What would he want anyway. Its impossible that he has desires.
