I don't know if this thread has been done before, and my apologies if it has, but I haven't been around here for very long.
Now, I remember back when the first Map Pack was released Bungie made a statement about future releases, and said that if there was enough demand for an old map to be remade they would take it under consideration. So, what maps would you all like to see remade, and why? Or, if you have an idea for an original map that would cater well to a specific game type this is the place to talk about it.
Personally the map that I would most like to see remade is Boarding Action from Halo 1. Many of you are probably scratching your heads right now, and wondering if I'm on medication, but just hear me out. Dust off that old copy of Halo 1, give it a try with some friends, and let me know what you think.
Make custom CTF game, and set the weapons to sniper rifles only. Ordinarily this will allow you to use pistols as well, but we had it set up in such a way that you didn't start with one, and there were none on the map. I promise it's possible, just tweak the settings if it doesn't work.
Anyway, it should go without saying that you need to limit participation in such a match, we only ever played 2v2, and I think with anymore it would be impossible. 2 is already hard enough, and if the guys you play with can outsnipe their little sisters it should be a pretty interesting game.
