Per chance did you even bother to watch that video you linked all the way through. It doesn't prove your point, but it does prove mine. Talk about self inflicted wounds. You doubled down on your epic fail, and came up with a even bigger epic fail. Rare is utterly resurgent, and that is the complete opposite of being in the gutter. You don't have to like the direction they are going, but that doesn't mean they are being unsuccessful. Their sports franchise, and their avatar product line are both bringing in the money in a serious way.
Implied or explicit it makes no difference. You went for a cheap shot, and got slammed right into the pavement. Microsoft bought a flagging developer with problems, and turned it around. Obviously Microsoft isn't hazardous to a third party developers health. Seeing as your prime example wasn't at all apt to the situation anyway, and it is the complete opposite of what you claimed.
You know what is real good for burns. Learning your lesson the first time, and not sticking your hand back into the flame. Attacking via a unrelated subject is like starting a war on a second front, and you know what they say about people who choose to fight a war on two fronts.
