I'm not targeting anyone with this, but I don't think any of us want to keep discussing the hair and the coat, if you don't like it you don't like, fair enough right.

These are the words of the series creator Hideki Kamiya regarding this issue:

"Hello all foreign fans. Recently I got lots of comments like “Dante has changed”, and someone said I was not too fond of newest Dante. But it’s not true.”Dante has changed”…that’s right. But from my point of view Dante has changed every time the sequel came out, and he was always different from whom I created first. So why don’t you wait and see how their new trial will be same as usual…? (sorry about my poor English )"

I appreciate some people are not happy about the change. But I've been with DMC since DMC1, and every Dante has been different. The story has always been inconsistant in these DMC games as well, and thats not NInja Theory's fault, its Capcom's fault for not bringing back Hideki Kamiya and Shinji Mikami for the sequels.

For me this is a nice change from DMC4, which I don't think was that good. I will update this thread will some gameplay videos for those who are interested in how deep and responsive the combat is. (Updated in the OP).
