No. I just wanted to show everybody how foolish people has been in previous threads. I wanted to show that one game in the same genre can outsell all of them combined because of all the flame wars here recently. People can ignore that sure, but people need not to make foolish comparisons to create flame wars by ignoring other things too.

well done i think you've succeeded. then if need be we can make a thread talking about which brand has sold the most games accross an equal number of consoles, or consoles released accross all 3 brands.
if MS wins, then Sony and ninity have egg on thier face. if ninty wins with Sony having sold the most home consoles, then Sony has the egg. but if Sony wins with ninty having released more consoles then the egg is on thier face.
this is the kind of thing that could shut everyone and thier comparrision threads up.

If I read that correctly then I already did in the past lol about a month ago actually.
Wii has sold over 800m games
X360 has sold around 750m
PS3 is around 620m
Something like that. I also did published games which went like this
Wii - Was a lot is all i can remember. Im thinking 300m
X360 - 140m
PS3 - 105m
As I cant remember exactly it is something around this area. Which is why it baffles me on some of the arguments we see on this site. Going to go ahead and give you a tip on a future argument too. PS3 is getting ready to pass X360 in games that has reached 1m in sells. Because of this their will be a thread made and an argument to follow. I could actually do this before somebody else but I will not have part of that kind of thread. People will look at this and ignore that MSFT and Nintendo has both done better with software because a lot of their games has chances of selling 3m+

yea but you limited it to this gen. my idea was to add all home consoles released by Sony, MS, and Nintendo.
but we both know the amount of spinning we'd see as to why something or other, even though the facts sit right there in front of them.
