Embracing GPGPU tech doesn't matter at all. What matters is how much literal power they are going to dedicate to the machine. If they go down a green route, console gaming is going to die due to a complete lack of evolution. If they throw 200W+ at it, then we will finally see some improvements in gaming and games worthy of being labelled as "next-gen".
