An immediate sense of godhood crept up onto me. The user had no name. It had no profile picture. It had 0 posts despite the thread itself. It said I have been posting since December 12.....1969. Its always online, even now. The thread was about one of the most heated topics in gaming...and the powers that be couldn't do a thing.
Moderator "Barozi" said "Who are you", cementing the thought in my head. To them I was a ghost. I was everywhere and nowhere. Unseen yet visible. Getting the word out under a faceless banner, mods being unable to access the profile, nevermind being able to moderate. Im sure a thought must have crept into the minds of moderators such as "what if this guy can do this unchecked and chooses to do this a lot?". The feeling of being above the authorities on their own turf is a invigorating thought, even if the mystery was soon solved and the newness of the situation faded away.
I can only hope you all feel the feeling for yourselves one day :P
