@TomaTito - Old watches are more prone to "break" than new watches. But to put it in some perspective, the best watches were for many decades carried by railroad engineers and were used to make sure trains weren't going to collide on the train tracks. The railroad engineer is the guy that is driving the train. The railroad pocket watch was for many years considered the most mechanically advanced invention that man had made until a rocketship was made. Electronics now make a mechanical watch anachronistic but I think they are still interesting and useful.
