I watched the video and what you are showing is a humane method of slaughter. That's not what we are talking about. Mass slaughterhouses are a completely different story. It's a well-known fact (amongst us who don't take animal abuse lightly) that cows can sense death. They can smell it in the air and they can hear the moans of those dying ahead of them. In addition, the methods of killing in mass slaughterhouses are ineffectual because oftentimes in a frenzied state, cows will not go down with one shock or slug to the head. There are numerous documented cases of animals being butchered or skinned alive because the kill zone didn't do their job right, but the large corporations don't care about the animals they care about every penny they can squeeze out of production. That means minimal compliance with FDA standards. So if regulations state one shock or slug is enough, then that's all they get, regardless if they have been properly put down, because the regulations do not stipulate that animals must be certified dead when they go through the plant.
Do some research and it will open your eyes. I've been studying this for 22 years now and have read more horror stories and have seen more videos than you can imagine.
