2D Mario games. They bored me to tears even when I was a Nintendo fankid. Jump, jump, hit this thing with your head a bunch of times, jump, miss a jump so do it over. Ugh. Argh. No story, no immersion, no interesting characters, no soul. Endless, mind-numbing repetition. I'm still of the opinion that so many people only love Mario because they've been conditioned by the early games being included with the system. I tried so many times to play Mario (I own 3 or 4) but I always quit after a few levels and popped in NBA Jam or Double Dragon or something else instead. However, the Yoshi levels were a lot more fun.

Gran Theft Auto is also on my list. Really boring games that I could never connect with. I just couldn't care about what I was doing or was supposed to be doing.

Gears of War. Well, third-person cover shooters in general, but Gears takes the cake. The art-style makes me uncomfortable, as well, like I'm going to start calling people "Bro" at the drop of a hat.

Little Big Planet. See Mario above. It has more charm than Mario but it's still just a lot of jumping. Now, honestly, I've always wanted to try the player made levels but I haven't been able to get through the campaign on either LBP 1 or 2.
