Sorry I'm not buying it. Sure tragedies can bring humans together yet this togetherness last about a month or so. One can't simply care about everyone because there is frankly too many humans to try to care about. Take 9/11 for instance. Americans were all about being together for about 4-6 months after the incident. After that we all went back to hating each other again. I'm not try to be a downer but there isn't that much that brings us together for a long time. It would take something on the grand scale of WW2 to bring that back. Very few people give a shit about the recent/current wars anymore. I don't see the human bond outside my family.
