And certainly if you don't know the history of the place you grew up in, why should anyone trust you to know the history (or the contestation of history) of other places? I did not make any implication that the Vikings did settle North-America (although there is evidence that they tried) I argued against your ridiculous egoism as if you're somebody credible on the matter when you stated that Vikings (who were a sub-set of Norse society) didn't settle places. |
I lived in Iceland for 3 years when i was a kid, What i told you was the truth and again, just because they settled is some places don't mean they tried to come to America and settle there. Which just isn't true. They did discover it first, and the Indians did not over populate America, over farm and die of their own diseases. So your post was a big waist of time on your part. Nice try tho. At least make a connection to what i was trying to say, instead of going off on a tangent about their language and the settlement of Iceland which we already know happened.
