I once got this call from this american "lady", who only wanted to get a free phone or something from me. I gave her all the options we had but she didn't like them. She started to insult me, and among the things she said to me, she said "why don't you go back to your side of the river?" (I 'm from Mexico). I can't write here what I replied to her, since I could be banned for racism, but I made her cry and hang on me. Good thing is that call was not monitored, nor I left any record on her account, so I got away with it. ... That's a bad example isn't it? |
no that was a great example but it didn't help. i'd have hung up on her (after explaining why she couldn't get a free phone. doing it in away which would have made her fine with it, but pissed she couldn't get a free phone) after giving her every option, or called the manager.
FD's situation was different. this women threw a bugger at him, which is an act of aggression, and can be considered an act of violence. throwing that bugger made her an hostile customer.
