Not only Crytek, Square also asks for a "fat slice of RAM", after they said that Agnis needed a PC with 32GB of RAM, even if they optimize it a lot, they still need a large amount of RAM in order to run a game with similar graphics. Considering that a next gen game will require 16GB-32GB or more on PC at maximum settings, on consoles, I believe 8GB would be the minimum in order to give us similar visuals when compared with PCs for the next 5-7-8 years.
