Having a unique selling point (USP) and pioneering rather than following.
The PS1, PS2 and PS3 really didn't have anything unique about them they were all pretty generic in they mainly focused on a console + controller configuration. Microsoft has Kinect and Nintendo has their hybrid controller but what will Sony bring to the party?
